Silver Birch Foundation supports the mission of Area Agency on Aging 3 to provide life-span resources that inspire, educate, and empower older adults, persons with disabilities and family caregivers. Based in Lima, Ohio and serving 7-counties across northwest Ohio including Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, and Van Wert counties.

Silver Birch Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors made up of community volunteers and team members from Area Agency on Aging3.

The Board of Directors consists of 6 community members, and 6 Area Agency on Aging 3 team members. Appointments are volunteer positions. The board directs the business of the foundation and represents the individuals we serve. The Board meets on the first Tuesday of January, February, March, April, May, June and October.
